Activity: Make a peace offering or a kind gesture to a family member, friend, or neighbor.

Again, really difficult to reflect on this one online...I do really like the Friday reflections in the pamphlet for this one, though. There's a common misunderstanding about Catholicism that we think we can "bribe" our way into Heaven through good works or these Lenten sacrifices. But, seriously, if forgiveness or redemption could be bought, is it really that genuine or worth having? It's like love that way. And love it's what's necessary for true forgiveness and reconciliation.

Prayer: Prince of peace, help us to worry less about presents and more about presence. May we grow to be one body in Christ.
