Movie Survey (Stolen from Andy...)

Really, how can I resist? It's about movies!

What was the last movie you watched in a theater?
Wow...Um...Synecdoche, New York. And not even when it was in REAL theaters, but when my school had a free preview of it! I'm seeing Benjamin Button that way this Thursday!

Who is your favorite James Bond?
Recently, it changed to Daniel Craig. I LOVE this bad@$ Bond! Before then, it was Roger Moore, for no real reason I can state.

What was the last DVD that you bought for yourself?
Just got the Indiana Jones box set, sans the latest one because the 4-movie version cost $20 more, and I can DEFINITELY get the newest one for less than $20!

Do you remember the last time you watched a movie on VHS, if so, what was it?
Oy. I think Beauty and the Beast was screened on VHS in my Disney class because the DVD freaked out.

How many of the Matrix movies have you seen?
All three. The first one was magical. The last two...Do not exist to me.

Do you talk during movies?
Not in theaters. I can't stand it. If I'm watching at home, yeah.

Do you have Netflix?
Hellz yes!

In your opinion, do movie adaptations ever live up to the book it’s based on?
On the fantasy side, they can't, just because your imagination will always outdo what's physically possible. But more "realistic" books, sure.

Ever taken a date to a movie that turned out to be just God awful?
No, lol, unless you count the time we couldn't make it to the theater on time. :-P

Do you go to Blockbuster?
Don't have a membership.

Do you like Disney or Pixar more?
There's enough love in my heart for both.

Who’s a better director Woody Allen, Spike Lee or Quentin Tarantino?
I guess I'll go with Tarantino, though I wouldn't choose any of them as necessarily my favorite.

Have you ever seen a foreign language film?
Hells yes.

How do you feel about Jim Carrey?
When he tones down the overacting, he's pretty good--Eternal Sunshine, anyone? Otherwise, he can be such a jack@$.

Can you list three movies that Judd Apatow has produced?
The 40-Year-Old Virgin, Pineapple Express, and Knocked Up

What is the worst movie you’ve ever seen?
Date Movie. Everything that SUCKS about parody movies is embodied in that one. As much as it pains me to say so, The X-Files 2 comes pretty close...

What is your favorite movie?
It's become my standard answer to say Eternal Sunshine, but honestly, I have no answer to this question.

What was the last movie you “watched” with someone?
12 Angry Men. Which actually IS a good movie, but...

Have you ever seen a Spaghetti Western?
Not all of one yet, but I have some in my queue.

Roughly how Many DVDs do you own?
Oy. I never bothered to count. Do TV series count as one, or does each individual disc count?

Twilight?
Twilight can go f*ck itself in the @$ and DIE DIE DIE DIE DIE!! Yes, I read the first book out of morbid curiosity, and the only way I made it through was to LAUGH at how horribly written it is, and even that almost couldn't keep my eyes from rolling out of my head! The first 2 can be amusing if you can turn off the filter in your mind that tells you, Hey, Brett Ratner is really, REALLY racist.
