Yet More Signs of the Nerd I Have Become

• I have Bordwell and Thompson's blog bookmarked on my browser. (If you have no idea who they are, you're clearly not a film person...OR you never took a class with any of their University of Wisconsin disciples... :-P)
• When I was telling someone I had given up on Fringe, he said (and I quote), "Whoa, that's serious...I mean it! From a sci-fi person like you, it's saying something!"
• I comment on Topless Robot postings on a regular basis. (Btw, you might need to watch this video.)
  
• I flag Twilight bumper stickers on the Facebook application as offensive...Oh wait, no, that's just a sign of how much I f*ing HATE Twilight. Ask me why another time. (And, no, I don't actually do that...Yet...)
• I featured an extended clip of The X-Files during my microteaching session of my TA training course. And, yes, it was relevant, thank you very much!
  
• I write up far too many surveys for this stupid blog.
• The other day, I watched 4 episodes of The Addams Family (for my paper), Blade Runner (just for funsies), and an episode of Battlestar Galactica (again for funsies). All in one sitting.
  
• I'm currently listening to the Harry Potter audiobooks. I suppose it comes as a shock that I haven't read them already (I know, I know!), but there's a very long-winded explanation for that. I'm actually getting through the first one relatively quickly, as I only listen to it when I'm stuck in traffic or on the bus. For once, I can honestly say, "Thank you, LA traffic!"
• I've discovered IGN.com...And I don't even play video games!
